Fabiana Pastorini

Fabiana Pastorini was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She began her dance studies at the age of 9 at The National Ballet School. Parallel to the ballet school, she attended high school and college to graduate as Bachelor of Pedagogics.
After graduation she specialized in Modern Dance, studying with Freddy Romero. Parallel to that she studied law and graduated at the National University of Buenos Aires.
She danced in the modern company „Quasars“ till 1988, when she moved to New York to study the Graham technique in the Martha Graham School, the Horton technique, and Jazz at the Alvin Ailey American School.
After New York she moved to Germany, where she began teaching and dancing in various projects.
In 1991 she met Ismael Ivo and assisted him in teaching and choreographic works.
She has been living in Vienna since 1992, teaching and choreographing for the Ballet School of the Vienna State Opera, Conservatory of the City of Vienna, for the Ballet Seminar in Wolfsegg, Tanz für Europa in Vienna, Bratislava and Györ, Impuls Dance, Vienna Dance Weeks, as well as other dance institutes. The Kinesiology study, brought her to develop her own Dance for Health technique. This unique system aims to help others to be more aware of themselves and prevent injures and illnesses, besides developing self-expression and achieving a better quality of life.

Fabiana Pastorini wurde in Buenos Aires (Argentinien) geboren. Ihren ersten Tanzunterricht hatte sie mit neun Jahren an der Nationalen Ballet Schule. Parallel dazu besuchte sie das Gymnasium und ein College wo sie mit einem Bachelor für Pädagogik absolvierte.
Nach dem Abschluß spezialisierte sie sich auf modernen Tanz und studierte mit Freddy Romero. Gleichzeitig studierte sie Recht und graduierte an der National University of Buenos Aires.
Sie tanzte in der modern company "Quasars" bis 1988 als sie nach New York ging um die Graham Technik an der Martha Graham School, die Horton Technik und Jazz an der Alvin Ailey American School zu studieren.
Nach New York ging sie nach Deutschland, begann dort Tanz zu unterrichten und arbeitete an verschiedenen Projekten mit.
1991 traf sie Ismael Ivo und war seine Assistentin bei Tanzunterricht und choreographischen Arbeiten.
Sie lebt seit 1992 in Wien, unterrichtet und choreografiert für das Ballett der Wiener Staatsoper, dem Konservatorium der Stadt Wien, für das Ballett Seminar Wolfsegg, Tanz für Europa in Wien, Bratislava und Györ, Impulstanz, die Wiener Tanzwochen und andere Tanzinstitute. Das Studium der Kinesiologie brachte sie dazu, ihre eigene "Dance for Health" Technik zu entwickeln. Dieses einzigartige System hat zum Ziel, Menschen auf sich selbst aufmerksam zu machen und so Verletzungen und Krankheiten vorzubeugen, aber auch um das Selbstbewußtsein und die Lebensqualität zu fördern.
